(Source: Gene Yaw) A total of $140,000 in state grants have been awarded to further develop Round Top Park in Athens Township and to help pay for a "rivers conservation plan" for the Loyalsock Creek Watershed in Bradford, Sullivan and other counties, state Sen. Gene Yaw (R-23) announced Wednesday. The grants are provided through the Community Conservation Partnerships Program (CCPP), which is administered by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), according to Yaw's office.
