After the recent St. Louis version of a monsoon season, area trails will be muddy, if not impassible. Washouts are being reported on both county trails and greenways. Walking and biking also can deface softer trails. But that doesn’t end walking in the woods. The area has several trails that are paved or hard gravel on high ground and you don’t have to sacrifice being in nature.
