Last fall, I looked out a window to see a first in my York County yard – a Baltimore oriole. Armed with food I knew he specifically liked, I was out the door with a dish of grape jelly and slices of fresh orange to entice him to stay a while. For a couple of weeks, he came and went, delighting us with the sight of his orange and black body with white markings. This year, I'm ready for him and his friends.
